How far in advance should I book?
Shoot times tend to fill up pretty quickly each day, especially during busy listing seasons. Once you know what works best, please let us know and we’ll be happy to lock it in for you.
Do you offer same-day or next-day appointments?
When our schedule allows, yes. Availability changes daily, so the sooner you reach out, the better chance we have of fitting the property in.
Do you give exact arrival times?
We schedule each shoot with a 30-minute arrival window. This allows for traffic delays and other unforeseen circumstances while still giving you a clear timeframe for when to expect us.
What areas do you serve?
We primarily serve Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Calumet counties. For properties outside our regular service area, a travel fee may apply.
Services & Packages
What is included in your Best Value Package?
Our Best Value Package includes interior and exterior photography, drone coverage, floor plan, MLS upload, and blue sky enhancement for homes up to 3,000 sq ft.
Do you offer drone photography?
Yes. We are FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilots. Drone photography is included in our Best Value Package and is also available as an add-on for select shoots.
Do you offer floor plans?
Yes. Floor plans are included with our Best Value Package for homes up to 3,000 sq ft. For larger homes, floor plans may be available as an add-on.
Do you offer virtual twilight images?
Yes. Virtual twilight images are available and are included in select larger-home packages.
Do you offer virtual staging?
Yes. Virtual staging is available for vacant rooms and can help buyers better visualize how a space can be used.
Preparing the Property
What does photo-ready mean?
Photo-ready means the home is cleaned, decluttered, staged, lights are on, blinds are adjusted, vehicles are moved, pets are secured, and the home is ready to be photographed when we arrive. To keep our schedule on time, we are not able to wait while rooms are cleaned, staged, or rearranged during the appointment.
Do you move furniture or clean during the shoot?
We may make small adjustments when needed, but we do not clean, stage, or move heavy furniture. The property should be photo-ready when we arrive.
Should cars be moved from the driveway?
Yes, when possible. Vehicles should be moved from the driveway and removed from the garage, then parked on the street away from the home. This gives the exterior images a cleaner, more polished look and helps us photograph the garage if needed.
Should pets be removed during the shoot?
Yes. All pets should be secured or removed from the property before we arrive. For safety, efficiency, and the quality of the final images, pets cannot be in the areas being photographed during the shoot.
During the Shoot
Does the homeowner need to be present?
No. As long as we have clear access instructions and the home is photo-ready, the homeowner does not need to be present. In fact, the shoot is often more efficient when we are able to work through the home independently, allowing us to stay focused on capturing the best photography possible.
How long does a shoot usually take?
Timing depends on the size of the home and the services booked. In many cases, we are able to complete a standard listing shoot within about an hour, though larger homes or additional services may take longer.
What happens if the home is not ready when you arrive?
We strongly recommend the home be photo-ready before we arrive. If we arrive and are unable to photograph the home because it is not ready, a fee of 75% of the scheduled shoot price will apply.
Delivery & MLS
When will I receive the photos?
Photos are delivered the next morning and are generally delivered before 9:00 AM.
How are the photos delivered?
We deliver the final images through an online download link.
Do you upload photos to the MLS?
Yes. MLS upload is included with many of our packages. Agents can select Real Estate Photography Midwest from the MLS photographer dropdown.
When will the floor plan be ready?
Floor plans usually come back within about one day, but timing can vary depending on processing volume.
Editing & Image Quality
Do you edit the photos?
Yes. Images are professionally edited for brightness, color, clarity, composition, and overall MLS-ready presentation.
Do you replace gray skies?
Yes. Blue sky enhancement is included with our listing photography.
Can you remove items from photos?
We can remove small distractions in some cases, such as small yard items or minor exterior distractions. Larger edits may require an additional fee.
Can you make grass greener?
Yes, when appropriate. We can enhance exterior images to help the property present well while still keeping the image realistic.
Payment & Policies
When is payment due?
Payment is typically due upon delivery or according to the agreed invoice terms.
Refunds for cancellations -
Cancellations made before the day of the appointment may be refunded, less any non-refundable credit card processing fees. Bookings made outside of our regular service area without prior approval may also be cancelled and refunded, less any non-refundable credit card processing fees. Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or properties that are not photo-ready or accessible may be subject to a fee of up to 75% of the scheduled shoot price.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather does not allow us to fly the drone or photograph the exterior, we will complete the interior photography that day and return on the next possible day to capture the exterior images.
